I'm Karel Vacek
For me, cycling is a path that has taught me discipline, perseverance and the recognition that every day is an opportunity to move forward. I love the feeling of freedom on the bike and the challenges that every training session brings. Today I'm sharing my experiences — because I believe that you can achieve great things if you're consistent and know why you're doing it.

I experienced cycling not only as a competition, but as a school of life. Years in a professional environment, with victories, setbacks and doubts, have shown me that development happens where you stick with it, even when no one is watching.

I don't believe in abbreviations or quick solutions. For me, performance comes from clear processes, patience and daily work that is not loud but has an impact.

I pass on experience, honestly, minimally and without staging. Not as ready-made answers, but as support that provides structure, provides orientation and promotes responsibility.

I train people the way I trained myself: with respect, humility and full commitment. My aim is not short-term success, but sustainable development and clarity about why you do what you do.
I believe in quiet work. On units that look unspectacular but make the difference.

You work out a lot But something lasts you back.
Most athletes don't fail because of discipline or commitment. They fail because training, body and mind don't work together cleanly. When units feel harder than they should, there is no progress, or performance is not available in the race, it is almost never due to a lack of will, but a lack of clarity, structure and leadership.

You're driving easy, but your pulse is skyrocketing? A lack of aerobic base, incorrect intensity control or too much stress in the system mean that even basic units become ineffective. Without control in Z2, the foundation for long-term performance development is missing. The coordination between breathing, core stability and neuromuscular coordination is also important. We build up control — before we increase intensity.

As soon as it gets really hard, the legs tighten up or your breathing breaks in. This is often due not to lack of will, but to incorrect exercise dosage, lack of repetition quality or inadequate adaptation of the nervous system to high intensities. VO₂max is trained, not survived.

You invest time, kilometers and discipline — but performance stagnates. This is often due to unstructured training blocks, lack of periodization, or units without a clear purpose. More training is not automatically better when there is no direction. Each unit has a purpose.

Everything goes well until the decisive phase — that's when the final punch is missing. This could be due to a lack of fatigue resistance, incorrect tactics or a lack of specific preparation for racing situations. But that is exactly where the result is decided. But above all, the correct intake of carbohydrates is necessary. Finals are being prepared, not hoped for.
